Start Here. Understand the Market Before You Trade It.
Talofa lava. I am Paia. This page walks you through what the crypto market is, the sectors inside it, the difference between investing and trading, the full trade process, and why doing your own research (DYOR) is worth the effort.
Paia Auto-Trader — She trades for your aiga, 24/7
Paia Auto-Trader (Series-7) runs the CTDMM AERION Expectancy Engine V2.1 — a server-side robot that scans 31 pairs every 5 minutes, day and night. BTC/USDT is reserved for the Trade Deck straddle bot, so the two systems never fight over the same pair. When her confidence clears your threshold (default 60%), she enters on Bybit at 25× leverage risking 1% of your account, with take-profit and stop-loss attached to the order.
Every 5 min she reads EMA trend, RSI, MACD, ATR volatility and market structure, then scores each setup as a Win Probability. If the strict gates fail, an adaptive fallback still ranks the best candidate.
Return-first sizing: tight stop, wide target, reward-to-risk of 2.0 or better. Position size = 1% of equity ÷ stop distance. Leverage 25×.
Stop moves to breakeven early, then at +25% P/L the profit-lock trailing stop arms (5–50% behind price, your slider). It only ever moves up, never down.
The dashboard shows a gallery of CTDMM warriors — Aerion, Cortana, Centurion, Sauoaiga, Orion Sphere, Helix Spiral, FPSE Sniper and Luminous Bubble. Tap one to make it the active setup; the engine retunes its gates, targets and trailing behaviour to that archetype. All of them stay locked to 60% confidence, 25× leverage and 1% risk.
Under the Auto-Trader sits the Trade Deck, locked to BTC/USDT. In manual mode you place your own long or short with TP/SL preview. In bot mode it arms a straddle: a long limit 3.5% above and a short limit 3.5% below the trigger price (raw price distance, leverage ignored so nothing fires instantly). Every time one side fills, it recalculates and re-arms a fresh pair around the fill. A Liquidation Shield can reduce-only trim part of an open position before price gets near liquidation, freeing margin and pushing the liquidation price away.
- • Hard 1% risk per trade — never bigger.
- • One trade per pair, capped open positions.
- • Skips low-confidence and low-volatility setups.
- • Stop-loss is sent with the order — always.
- • Changing risk, leverage or confidence shows a confirmation screen first.
- • Paia trades every scanned pair except BTC/USDT.
- • The Trade Deck keeps running BTC alongside her — both can be live at once.
- • Turn the switch OFF to take back manual control.
- • Paia keeps trailing all open trades until you close them.
Why this matters for Samoa: you don't need to sit at a screen all day. Paia watches the market for you — using the same CTDMM/ICT/Wyckoff rules Big Money uses — so families can build wealth slowly and safely while life keeps going.
What the Crypto Market Is
The crypto market is a global, 24/7 online marketplace where people buy and sell digital assets like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). It is decentralized — no single bank or country controls it — and the price of each coin is decided by what buyers and sellers agree on right now.
No weekends, no closing bell. Prices move every second.
Anyone with a phone can join from any country.
Every transaction is recorded on a public blockchain.
The Main Market Sectors
Crypto is not one thing — it is many categories that behave differently. Knowing the sector helps you understand the risk and the story behind a coin.
The base blockchains: BTC, ETH, SOL. The 'land' everything is built on.
Faster, cheaper highways built on top of L1: Arbitrum, Base, Optimism.
Decentralized Finance — lending, borrowing, trading without a bank.
Coins pegged to USD (USDT, USDC). Used as digital cash.
Coins powering AI, data, and computing networks.
Community-driven, very high risk, very high volatility.
Real-World Assets tokenized — bonds, real estate, gold.
Digital ownership inside games and collectibles.
Why Invest — by Time Horizon
Buy quality assets (BTC, ETH) and hold across cycles. Lowest stress, biggest patience. Best for retirement and family savings.
Hold positions for days or weeks to capture trend moves. Check the chart 1–2 times a day. Good for people with jobs.
Many small trades for small gains. High focus, tight stops, fast decisions. Requires the most skill.
Paia's advice: start long term. Learn to hold before you learn to trade. Time in the market beats timing the market.
Investing vs Trading — the Difference
| Investing | Trading | |
|---|---|---|
| Goal | Grow wealth over years | Profit from short moves |
| Time | Months to years | Minutes to weeks |
| Skill | Patience, research | Charts, risk, discipline |
| Risk | Lower if diversified | Higher, can lose fast |
| Effort | Low — set & forget | High — daily focus |

The Full Trade Process
Every good trade follows the same steps. Skipping a step is how money is lost.
- 1Plan
Choose your asset, timeframe, and strategy before opening anything.
- 2Analyze
Read the chart, check market structure, news, and sentiment.
- 3Set Entry, TP, SL
Decide exactly where you enter, where you take profit, and where you cut the loss.
- 4Size the Risk
Never risk more than 1–2% of your account on a single trade.
- 5Execute
Place the order on Bybit/Binance with stop-loss attached.
- 6Manage
Move stop to breakeven when in profit. Do not babysit emotions.
- 7Close & Journal
Exit at TP or SL. Write down what you learned for next time.
Bybit → API Key → Paia Bot — Step by Step
This is the exact path from zero to running the Paia bot on a live Bybit account. Take it slowly — each step is a click, not a leap.
- 1Create your Bybit account
Open the affiliate link below (code CTDMM), enter email + password, verify the email code, then complete identity verification (KYC) with your ID and a selfie. KYC unlocks deposits, withdrawals, and the API.
- 2Fund the account (small)
Deposit a small amount of USDT first — what you can afford to lose while learning. Use the Bybit deposit page; for Pacific users, P2P with local bank/MPesa is usually easiest.
- 3Create an API key on Bybit
On Bybit, go to: Profile icon → API → Create New Key → System-generated → Read-Write. Permissions: enable 'Unified Trading: Trade' and 'Derivatives: Trade'. NEVER enable Withdraw. Set IP restriction if you have a static IP.
- 4Copy the key + secret safely
Bybit will show your API Key and API Secret ONCE. Copy both into a password manager. If you lose the secret, you must create a new key.
- 5Link the key to Paia
Open Account in Paia, paste the API Key and API Secret, give it a label like 'Bybit Main', and save. Paia stores it encrypted and only uses it to send your orders.
- 6Choose your CTDMM warrior
On the Dashboard, open the warrior gallery in the Paia Auto-Trader panel and tap one — Aerion for balanced expectancy, Centurion for defence, FPSE Sniper for precision entries. That archetype becomes the active setup at 60% confidence, 25x leverage and 1% risk.
- 7Paper-test before going live
Run the backtest panel for at least 90 days. If win-rate and drawdown look acceptable to YOU, only then enable live trading and start with the smallest size Bybit allows.
- 8Engage the scan + monitor
Switch the Auto-Trader ON (or hit Engage Scan Cycle to run one pass now). She scans 31 pairs; BTC/USDT stays with the Trade Deck straddle bot, which you can arm at the same time. Check in once or twice a day — SL, TP, risk and the profit-lock trail are handled for you. Pause anytime.
Indicators & Strategies — How They Work
The bot reads the chart through 'indicators' (math on price + volume) and acts using 'strategies' (rules for entry, exit, and size). Here is what each one does in plain language.
Smooths price into a trend line. Crosses signal trend change.
0–100 momentum gauge. Above 70 = overbought, below 30 = oversold.
Two EMAs talking to each other. Histogram flips = momentum shift.
Volatility envelope. Price tagging the band often reverts.
Confirms conviction. Big volume + breakout = real move.
ICT zones where institutions left footprints. Price often retests them.
Buy when trend is up, sell when down. Ride it until it breaks. Best for patient users.
Hold a few days to weeks. Catch the mid-size moves between extremes.
Enter the moment price breaks a key level with volume.
Fade extremes — buy oversold, sell overbought back to average.
Many tiny trades, minutes each. Highest skill, lowest patience.
Exploit price differences across exchanges. Low risk, tiny spread, needs scale.
In Paia, you pick a Model (the lens — e.g. CTDMM, ICT, Wyckoff) AND a Strategy (the action — e.g. Swing). The Model finds the setup; the Strategy decides how to trade it.
Why Crypto is Worth the DYOR Effort
DYOR means Do Your Own Research. In crypto, the people who study win — the people who follow hype lose. Here is why the effort pays back.
No bank can freeze your wallet. With ownership comes responsibility.
Small, well-researched positions can grow many times over a cycle.
Reading charts, managing risk, and patience help in life, not just crypto.
Most losses come from trusting strangers. Research is your shield.
Self-custody and global access mean you trade on your own terms.
What you learn you can teach. One informed family member lifts the whole house.
Never invest more than you can afford to lose. Start small. Learn first, earn later. Aiga always comes before profit.
CTDMM Ecosystem & Bybit
The CTDMM ecosystem is the wider information hub behind Paia — research, education, and aiga-first market guidance. Bybit is our preferred exchange for live trading; using our affiliate link supports the project at no extra cost to you.
Ready? Let Paia guide your first setup.
Go back to the dashboard, choose a CTDMM warrior for the Auto-Trader, and arm the Trade Deck on BTC — both can run at the same time.
